My first experience with the snow!!!!

The wind was so frosty that it made you teeth chatter. When we started seeing the snow on our way to Murree and Bur bon… My heart started pumping faster with excitement and I could barely wait to go outside and play with it.

As we reached towards our resort, I was jumping with excitement. When we arrived we got out of the car getting all excited. We felt the cold breeze passing through our face. At first we had to inside to our rooms and put our things there. After a while we went outside to play. At the beginning I was really really scared but after some time I got used to it and I started throwing snows at my brothers and my mum and my aunty. We played almost the whole day, we were running all around the place carrying snow with out bare hands, none of us had bothered wearing gloves. When it was time for us to leave we were all sad because we wanted to play even more. The place was so beautiful that we fell in love that we didn’t want to leave that place.

On our way back we stopped in Murree and played with snow for some time, but when it was time for us to leave, one of the cars in front of ours couldn’t get out so our drivers went to help then. After that we came back home and went to bed because I was pretty late by the time we got home.

Well over all my first experience with the snow was great and it is a new experience that I will never forget. It will always be stored as part of my memory.

Champs Elysees

Have you ever thought about the songs you listen to in different language?

Well as we were practicing for out French week program, we had to choose a song to sing so we decided to choose a song called Champs Elysees.

When some one listens to this song for the first time, they think it is such a happy song and you will just fall in love with this song the very first time you hear it. Well as I went for the practice twice and full of energy son but I realized that I had a misconception about this song because in real it is not a happy, it is a very sad song. We realized this after we translated this song from French language to English language.

“Champs-Élysées means “Elysian Fields” it is one of the most spectacular thoroughfare of Paris, running west from the Place de la Concorde to the Place Charles de Gaulle-Étoile (formerly called the Place de l’Étoile). All major civic celebrations take place along this broad avenue, including the Bastille Day military parade on July 14.”

The song is about a lonely guy walking in the street along and his heart is open to even the unknown people, and he says that he will say to anyone and his heart is always welcoming to even everyone. When you translate the song it sounds like he is waiting for someone.

I think I everyone should listen to this music…it’s a nice music.

Poem!!!!

The Road Not Taken
by: Robert Frost

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the tother, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy ans wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I -
I took the one less traveled by
And that has made all the difference.

Do you like to read poems???? I do and I feel very relaxed after I read poems…..when I am reading poems I get lost into my own world. When I was reading this poem I imagined myself in the very situation but I realized that I am not the only person who has difficulty when making decision when I many other options. This poem reminds me and helps me realize that life is not easy but you should never look back and you should be happy with the things you have. It also tell us that no one know how the future is like. We have to live it in order to see it.

The first stanza of the poems describes how the author was confused, as he wanted to try out both the roads but he only had a choice of trying out one. The stood there for some time trying to figure out which way to take and looked as far down as he can see. He keeps looking at the road trying to decide which road to take.

On the second stanza he says that he chose the other road but he realized both of the roads looked the same. The reason why he decided to take the second was because it seemed less used and less travelled.

The third stanza of the poem the author describes about how similar both the roads looked and he had noticed that the leaves were both fresh fallen on both of them and had not been walked on. He also says that the left the other one for the next day which he doubts about coming back to it.

On the third stanza he says that he expresses himself by relief or exhausted sigh. The author is still confused if he took the right road.

Well nobody knows about their future unless u like it and see it and its true that what ever path we choose will affect our future one way or the other.

Funny moments of my life

I remember the day vividly. The reminiscence is still as fresh as daisy and as clear as crystal. I had just been moved from a kinder garden school to another school. Until this time I didn’t know how to speak English but I understood it when other people spoke to me.

My first day at my new school was not excellent as I had expected it to be. Everyone in school was really mean to me. I didn’t know we had to speak in English so I started speaking to my new friends in my mother tongue. Everyone started laughing at me, but I didn’t know what the reason was exactly. Later in the afternoon after lunch a girl was talking to me in English but I replied in Nepali, she was so shocked that she went up to the teacher and told her that I was talking in Nepali. I got in trouble. I was called by the teacher and told that I should not speak in Nepali. I got really nervous and I started shaking because I didn’t know how to respond to my teacher so I kept quite. Latter in the evening I got home and I told my dad about how bad my day had been and about how I got in trouble. From that day onwards my dad started teaching me how to speak in English. Many of my friends used to laugh at me at the starting but I tried to ignore them and when I got home I always used to cry feeling helpless. Within few weeks I started speaking properly and in fact better than some of my friends.

Thereafter no body dared to make fun of me and I managed to make good friends.

Holiday in Malaysia

The sky was as clear as crystal. The sea was as quite as a mouse. This was one of the most amazing holidays I ever had after a long time along with my families and my mum and dad’s friends’ family.

As I was not so close to the other members who were also with us for their to enjoy their holidays with us, and I got a chance to get close to them too. The best part of the holiday was when we went to Penang.

One of the funny incident that took place was when we had gone to the beach and us 4 kids including myself we wanted to do para gliding and jet skiing. Well as we were really stubborn we got it our way. We had to pair up to do both the activities and my little brother was really scared to do anything with me so, he decided to pair up withPratick and I did all the activities with Pritesh. As we were the first pair to go on the paragliding, we got ready and we tried to do as we were instructed. At the end when we were about to land I guess we failed to follow the instruction and we both ended up hurting ourselves because wedidn’t know that when we were landing we had to run. As I forgot about that I fell and Pritesh fell too. I thought we were the only one’s and I also thought we made a fool out of myself but I think that is not true because when I was watching all the other people who went on it., they all fell like us. The most exciting part was when we had a race against each other in jet skiing and both the pairs were on full speed. This time we really scared our parents because we were not even experienced and we went on full speed and far away from where we had started. It was fun scaring our parents.

I hope to have such a good holidays again in the future. I really really enjoyed my holidays and it was not boring as my other holidays had been these past few years.

Shawshak Redemption- main character analysis

The title of the movie means that it is a prison where salvation for sin through Jesus’ sacrifice. One of the examples that describe the title is- Andy was sent to the prison thinking that he had his wife and her lover, while he was innocent and when he found out he was innocent he finds his way for freedom and goes to the bank and takes the amount of money Warden Norton obtained illegally (financial corruption).

In the movie there a quite a lot main character but the main once are:-

Warden Norton- he was the director of the prison. He used to say to his prisoners that he only believed in two things and they were Bible and discipline. He also killed a young man called Tommy because Tommy knew Andy was innocent and he was ready to do anything in order to save Andy, while Warden didn’t want Andy to get out. The reason behind this was because Andy had laundered his dirty money and had managed to create a bank account where he kept all the money. When Andy came to know that Tommy was killed, he escapes from the prison and he also takes revenge on Warden by taking all Norton’s money. Warden Norton kills himself when police came to arrest him after Andy had escaped. Norton also used his prisoners in cheap prison labor, out of that he made a lot of money. At times he also over used his power.

Andy Dufresne- (Primary character) - He was accused of killing his wife and her lover. Andy was innocent unlike other friends of his. He was quite close to this guy named Red when he spent 19 years in the prison. Andy used the rock hammer to shape himself the pieces of chess set. While carving his name on the wall he realizes that the cell walls aren’t strong. During the 19 years he cuts a tunnel through the cell, to get out of the prison and start a new life in the world outside. Andy takes the entire Norton’s money to start a new life for him, with his new identity he settles in Mexico.

I thought this was a very interesting movie. I really like the movies.

Valentines Day!

Are you one of those who get nervous if you are going to get a rose from someone or not? You may also be daydreaming thinking if have any secret admirer isn’t?

Well, Valentines Day is not only about couples… it is a very important day where you can express you love towards anyone. Lets say maybe towards any of your family member and in order to make them happy you go and buy gifts for them and treat them in more special way than you used to treat them and make them feel loved and let them also release that there is someone out there who cares about them and love them like no matter what happens.

You can also make friends with your enemies. There is no reason why you want to have someone the only reason that you might hate them is because you are jealous of them.

Valentines Day is one of the days that you make the most out of it. You can have as much fun as you want… what I mean is that even though you don’t love someone but he/ she is your friend and you want to have some fun with them than you can just send some flowers along with a note with reads “ FROM ANONYMOUS”.

It is a day whose memories can be treasured. It will be really great to look at it or remember it in the future. I would really say you don’t need a boyfriend in order to celebrate this day. You can celebrate it with your loved ones…with those people who are your rather than the person who you are not even sure if he/she is your. You will make the most of it if you specially celebrate this day with you family.
